Vision 

The vision of Zimbabwe's Finest Dance Group is to create a platform for Zimbabwe's youth to fully express their creative talent through dance.  We believe that the youth of Zimbabwe are as talented in hip hop dance as any other country, and it is our aim to increase exposure by providing a venue for our dancers to really shine in displaying their skills. 

Our focus is to provide training in hip-hop and street dance, facilitate dance workshops, and create various events that will bring together different dance groups from around the country.  
Zimbabwe’s Finest Dance Group runs annual four tier Hip hop dance competitions; regional auditions, first round, semi-final and finals. 


While we want dance groups to be competitive and work hard to become the best dance group, ZimFDG is not internally focused or exclusively dance focused.  For instance, one of our main priorities is to create a positive and friendly environment for the participating youth.  We want to combat drug and alcohol abuse and other antisocial behaviors by providing creative outlets and fun projects that encourage positive thinking and taking pride in oneself.  

Another priority is to give back to the community and to help those less fortunate than ourselves.  That is why ZimFDG has formed a collaboration with a new organization called Let's Give Them Hope, which works with orphans and vulnerable children. Read our give back page for more.
